To all CARGOLUX Staff

We were very surprised to see and hear the information issued by OGB-L in the media concerning the implications of Qatar at, among others, CARGOLUX.

The Board of Directors took a unanimous decision as to accept the participation of 35% of Qatar Airways in CV Shares. This decision was taken with the vote of your staff representatives from the LCGB and OGB-L!

The media were talking of a “Total Dependance of Qatar” and of “Secret Conventions”. We would like to emphasize that we, the unions, are here to protect the interests and livelihoods of the employees, and not to draw public attention, at all cost, by issuing spectacular, dangerous and frightening “informations”.

If OGB-L is really interested in your future and working conditions, the discussions should take place on a table with your management.

We as LCGB-SEA have requested a meeting with management, in order to GET answers to specific questions.

We cannot identify ourselves with general statements like the one coming from OGB-L “Qatar is on shopping tour in Luxembourg”.
